The Hawaiian Goose (Branta sandvicensis), or nene, is endemic to the Hawaiian islands and can be found there exclusively. This nene is eating some blooming grass in the crater of the inactive volcano Haleakala. Many Hawaiian Geese reside within Haleakala National Park on Maui, Hawai'i.
